I made this chocolate almond butter smoothie bowl for breakfast in the weekend and it was SO GOOD I had to share it with you guys. So good I was tempted to make another bowl! You can make this smoothie bowl in a matter of minutes for a nutritious and oh-so-delicious breakfast or afternoon snack, heck you could even have it for dessert! It’s full of healthy fats which will help you keep you satiated for hours.
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp flaxseeds
1/2 large frozen banana (or 1 small frozen)
1 serving chocolate protein (2 tbsp worth)
Small handful of ice
Toppings: raw cacao nibs, raw cacao powder, shredded coconut
1. Place all ingredients (except the toppings) into a blender and blend together until smooth.
2. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with raw cacao nibs, raw cacao powder, shredded coconut and enjoy immediately!
