Happy 5th birthday to my friends at Nuzest! To celebrate I made a deeeelicious cacao mint smoothie bowl using their new Just Fruit & Veg plant-based protein powder.
This protein smoothie is think and creamy; tastes like a chocolate chip milkshake and is packed with all the goods to nourish your body and keep your energy levels high. It's the perfect breakfast, afternoon snack or post-workout treat.
Tip: Make sure your bananas are frozen for the ultimate creamy texture. I like to get my bananas extra ripe, then peel them and stick them into a container to freeze. You can also slice them before freezing if that is easier for you!

- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/4 cup raw cacao nibs
- 6 fresh mint leaves
- 1 handful spinach
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 sachet Nuzest Just Fruit & Vege Cacao Mint Protein Powder
- 3-4 ice cubes
- Toppings: raw cacao nibs, coconut flakes, fresh mint leaves
1. Place all ingredients (except the toppings) into a blender and blend together until smooth.
2. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with raw cacao nibs, coconut flakes and fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!
