If you ever need to satisfy your sweet tooth then this smoothie is the way to go. It's the perfect afternoon pick me, the yummy banana date combo makes it creamy, thick and sweet. I like to use medjool dates as they contain beneficial minerals, vitamins and fiber and give off a delicious caramel-like flavour.
• 1 frozen banana
• 2 medjool dates
• 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup non-dairy milk (I like rice or coconut milk)
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
• Handful ice cubes
1. Remove stones from dates, then add all ingredients into a blender, blend into a creamy smooth consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
